Straw's The Ringmaster

Straw is a carnival themed restaurant in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley district.  It has a colorful menu of delectable dishes that take inspiration from the kind of food you would find at a county fair.  One item on the menu that likely rattles the typical, healthy San Francisco diner is The Ringmaster.  The Ringmaster is a sizeable beef burger, served with all the fixings—this in nothing to bat an eye at.  What makes The Ringmaster such a standout item is that the burger is not served on a typical hamburger bun, but rather is sandwiched between TWO GLAZED DONUTS.  That’s right.  It’s not one donut cut in half, it’s literally one donut on the bottom of the burger, and one on the top.  The burger can also be upgraded to include cheese and bacon.  However, the burger does not come with a free ride in an ambulance, for it is surely to give even the healthiest diner an immediate heart attack.

  1. All this food looks delicious! I am somewhat of a foodie and I love to learn about new places and things to eat. I will definitely be checking some of this stuff out. Especially the fried chicken sandwich. Looks amazing. Great blog!
